05/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The were 143 different DC-3s, all ex military, registered to the CAA, later FAA, between 1941 and today. In 1976 only, 34 were active, the longest registered DC-3 is N34, a DC-3A-467 C-47B, that was registered on August 22, 1957 and still is today."
