Remarks by Mark Stewart: "This is Y2-K of 442 RCAF Squadron. Constructed at Supermarine Aviation (Vickers) Ltd, test flown and ferried to 39 MU for final checks on January 23, 1944. Allocated to 310 Squadron on the February 7, serving with 442nd by the July 13. Transferred to 412 Squadron where it received Catagory E damage during operations and was tested at White Waltham Aerodrome on the October 14. Checked out for operational service at 19 MU before allocation to 331 Squadron where it suffered a flying accident Catagory E by the September 29. Retired from RAF service."
