This is the Lockheed owned demonstrator for a much more capable trainer than the already successful T-33/TV-2 series. It was modified from the unfinished T-33A (52-9255 c/n 580/7321) Lockheed bought back from the USAF; unofficially it was known as the T-33B. The 150 production models for the USN were designated Lockheed 1080 T2V-1 SeaStar. |
