2010/01/31: Remarks by Jack Fisher: "When I worked at Lockheed in the late 1950s I was responsible for the aerodynamics of the T2V-1, which was a modification of the T-bird to take off and land on aircraft carriers to train pilots for the Navy. The aircraft wing was equipped with boundary layer control and leading edge slats to lower take off and landing speeds."
