"When I worked at Lockheed in the late 1950s I was responsible for the aerodynamics of the T2V-1.
This was a modification of the T-bird to take-off and land on aircraft carriers to train pilots for the Navy.
The aircraft wing was equipped with boundary layer control and leading edge slats to lower
