06/30/2024. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Built by Curtiss and delivered July 25, 1922, this aircraft was tested at McCook Field, Dayton, Ohio, under the Project Number "P-254". On March 22, 1926, the aircraft was transferred to Fairfield. On November 27, 1928, while flown from Langley Field, Hampton, Virginia by pilot A.C. Komdat, the aircraft was substantially damaged in a forced landing near Port Haywood due to the weather."
