08/31/2011. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "N7131 was a considerably modified SA102.5 that was built over a 4.5-year period by Larry A. Burton of Klamath Falls, Oregon, USA. Of all-wood construction, with covering of Stits' Poly Fiber/Poly Dope/Poly Urethane, this aircraft was powered by an 125 hp Lycoming O-290-D engine and had a retractable tail wheel-type landing gear. The shape of the undersurface of the fuselage was modified, and push/pull rods were used instead of cables in the control system.

First flight was made on September 15, 1973, and the aircraft had logged 212 flying hours by August 1974. The aircraft crashed at Grands Pass, Oregon, USA, on February 26, 1990. Due to fuel starvation the aircraft stalled and spun into the ground nose down. Both occupants received fatal injuries, the aircraft was destroyed."
