Larry Westin: "It would appear this photo was taken well into the life of the airplane as the plastic logo is missing from the pilots control wheel. Yet it isn't all that new because the airplane still has the Hallicrafters CA-2 radio. Most LF (low frequency) radios were removed by the middle 1960s. That radio says it also is a 108-1, 108-2 or 108-3 model, as the straight 108 used the GE AS-1B radio."
