Miles M.19 Master Mk.II

02/28/2006. Remarks by Larry Button: "This photo is from my father's Pilots Flying Log Book (WO2 Tom Button RCAF 168358). On the back is written 'Darky Saffe, N.Z. 7(P)AFU January 1944'. Darky Saffe is evidently the name of the pilot flying the machine. DK681 was built by Phillips & Powis at Reading, UK, and was attached to 7(P)AFU (Advanced Flying Unit) for day and night flying, at RAF Airfield Sibson, 80 miles (129 km) north of London, between August 1942 and August 1944."
