Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-2/R3

04/30/2009. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was recovered from a lake in Norway in the 1980s. It crash-landed at the frozen lake in 1943, and sank when the ice melted. Initially restoration was started in Germany and eventually finished in Brazil in 2006, and put on display at the Wings of Dream Museum.

The aircraft is displayed as 14256/14 in the colours of the legendary Hauptmann Hans-Joachim Marseille (158 kills) who crashed near Sidi Abd el Rahman, Egypt, on September 20, 1942."
