It was impressed by the USAAF on July 19, 1942, as a C-73 with s/n 42-68853. It came on the civil registry in Mexico as XA-DUY on June 14, 1944, registered to Lineas Aeras Mineras, but not for long, as on August 1, 1945, it crashed into a mountain near San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
