11/15/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This C-133B-DL was the last of the 50 Cargomasters delivered to the USAF. It was accepted at Long Beach, California, USA, on March 22, 1961 and issued to the 1501st Air Transport Wing (ATW), Western Transport Air Force, Military Air Transport Service and based at Travis AFB, Fairfield, California. The 1501st ATW was replaced by the 60th Military Airlift Wing, Twenty-Second Air Force, Military Airlift Command on January 8, 1966.

The aircraft was re-issued to the 3902d Air Base Wing, Strategic Air Command, on June 30, 1971 and based at Offutt AFB, Omaha, Nebraska USA. On July 6, 1971, it was transferred to the AF Museum collection and struck off charge on December 28, 1971 having been transferred to the SAC Museum at Offutt AFB. It was transferred to the Air Mobility Command (AMC) Museum at Dover AFB, in summer 2000 and is currently on display at that museum."
