05/31/2008. Built as an OV-10A for the USMC, BuNo. 155474, the aircraft was subsequently converted to a OV-10D. On March 21, 1997, it was registered as N16854 and became one of ten OV-10Ds that were sold to the US Department of State (USDS). Based at Patrick AFB, Florida, and equipped with crop-spraying gear as shown in the picture, they were used in an anti-narcotics spraying program in Central and South America. The pictured aircraft is still registered to the USDS. |
