Airco DH-4M-2A

10/31/2007. Remarks by Gilles Auliard: "Most of you already have heard about the DH-4 project that has been brewing there since 2002. This aircraft was originally built by Atlantic Aircraft (c/n DA-2) and was last flown in 1956.

Fitted with a new fuselage and a converted 60 hp Ford engine, it is finished in the colours of Robertson Aircraft Compnay and carries the US Contract Air Mail markings C.A.M. 2 and the registration C3360. The first flight after restoration took place on September 29, last year and after all winter to fix the pesky problem inherent to an extinct type of airplane, it is back in the air.

I was lucky enough to do two long air-to-air sessions, as well as staged ground, and ground-to-air shots, the total package!"
