Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was one of a batch of 700 C-45F Expeditor transport aircraft built under the USAAF serials 44-47049 to 44-47748, a large number were transferred to the USN under the designation JRB-4 Expeditor. The pictured aircraft, ex-44-47730, was received by the USN in January 1945 and had allotted the BuNo 44576. Ca. 1953 it was converted by Beech to a trainer designated SNB-5.

By 1968 the aircraft had been acquired by Hamilton Aircraft Co. of Tucson, Arizona, the years thereafter it was noted stored amongst other ex-military Beech 18s. By September 1972 the aircraft was a derelict, and on September 10, 1976, it was seen at the Hamilton ramp as a stripped derelict."
