On December 29, 2012, D-HAIE was to be used for a sightseeing flight from Rehagen am Mellensee, Brandenburg. When taking off, the pilot noticed that the helicopter was difficult to control around its vertical axis. During the subsequent hard landing, the left skid broke and the helicopter tipped over and was severely damaged. The pilot and the passenger escaped with minor injuries, the helicopter was written off."
