Reims/Cessna F.182Q Skylane

09/30/2009. The Feuerwehr-Flugdienst (Fire-brigade Air Service) is a forest fire monitoring service of the Landesfeuerwehrverbandes Niedersachsen (Fire-Brigade Association of the federal state of Lower Saxony, Germany). It was started in 1962 in Fallersleben and a variety of aircraft have been used since, including ex Federal Germany Armed Forced Bristol Sycamores, Dornier Do-27s and a Piaggio P.149D.

At the time of the 40st anniversary, the Feuerwehr-Flugdienst operated the pictured Skylane, a Cessna 182N Skylane (D-ECJG c/n 18260517) and a Reims/Cessna F.172N Skyhawk (D-EBAG c/n F17201655), based at Lüneburg, Peine and Damme respectively.
