02/28/2008. The pictured aircraft, s/n XS694, was ordered as a P.1127, but was renamed Kestrel F(GA).Mk.1 when it flew for the first time on January 30, 1965. It was delivered to West Raynham, Norfolk, on March 30, to become part of the Tripartite Evaluation.

On February 19, 1966 it was delivered to the USAF as a XV-6A, s/n 64-18268. Delivered to NASA as "520" on July 31, 1966, crashed at Wallops Island, Virginia, USA, August 27, 1967. View also the History Brief .
