Johan Visschedijk: "Shortly after the end of World War II, a Military Vocational School for Aeronautical Mechanics (VOŠLM) was established in Liberec, Czechoslovakia, where a very agile branch of the Czech National Aero Club began to form around excellent teachers. Here the idea arose to build a small single-seat aircraft to set a speed record in the category weighing up to 500 kg. The leading personalities of the project were Major Jan Cervenka, Miloslav Elias and Robert Binder.
