05/01/2005. Remarks by Nico Braas: "G-ABGE was the first prototype of the quite successfull Vildebeest RAF bomber/torpedoplane. Originally, it was fitted with a radial engine and flew without floats. At a later stage, it was fitted with a liquid cooled Hispano-Suiza in-line engine and Supermarine floats."
