This is the second S.O.6020 prototype also fitted with a SEPR 251 liquid fuel rocket engine (in the tail) and wing tip tanks containing the rocket fuel. In this configuration and redesignated S.O.6026 the aircraft flew for the first time on October 15, 1951. |
