07/21/2007. Development of the AV-22 started in 1946, however, it
took ten years before the glider prototype AV-22-SA, registered
F-CCGK, did fly on April 5, 1956, followed by a second prototype,
F-CCGL, in 1957. Eventually only four production aircraft were
built, the first, F-CCDC, flew March 26, 1959. |
