04/30/2007. This side-by-side two-seat light cabin monoplane was designed by Friedrich Fecher of the Siebel Flugzeugwerke KG of Halle, Germany. The first prototype, the Si 202 V1 (D-ESFH) was first flown by Wolfgang Ziese on April 26, 1938. Between 1938 and 1941 a total of 66 aircraft (including 13 prototypes) were built.

A wide range of engines was used, including the 59 hp Salmson AD 9b, the 55 hp Zundapp 9-092, the 60 hp Hirth HM 515, and the 62 hp Walter Mikron II four-cylinder engine that powered the V3 (D-EKDQ).
