Johan Visschedijk: "Designed as a purely military transport, after the
Tu-70 passenger transport, this was the second derivate of the Boeing B-29. Power plants were four 2,300 hp Shvetsov ASh-73K eighteen-cylinder two-row air-cooled radial engines, and the sole aircraft was first flown on January 21, 1950."
