01/31/2006. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Two Blenheims were delivered new from the Bristol factory (G-AFCE and G-AFCF) in November 1937. Late in 1940, another 20 aircraft (L6813, L6814, L6817-L6834) were diverted from the RAF to Yugoslavia with civil registrations (YU-BAA to YU-BAT).

License was also obtained by the Ikarus factory at Zemun near Belgrade, in 1938, the first of 50 planned aircraft flew in March, 1939. When hostilities reached the Balkan in the spring of 1941, 16 aircraft had been delivered and 24 were in an advanced state of procduction. The 24 aircraft were damaged by sabotage actions of Yugoslav patriots. The 38 aircraft delivered were used by the 1st and 8th Bomber regiments in the fierce battle against the German forces, the few left served with the Croat AF.
