Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Powered by four 720 hp Hispano-Suiza 12Xirs twelve-cylinder liquid-cooled V-engines, the all-metal Bloch 160 was first flown by Bloch's Chief Test Pilot André Curvale on June 18, 1937. The twenty-passenger aircraft was built for Air Afrique, in all three were produced. The type was developed into the Sud-Est S.E.161 Languedoc."
