08/31/2017. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was with 35 Squadron RAF. In the evening of August 28, 1942 it left its base RAF Gravely, ca. 5 mls (8 km) south of Huntingdon, Huntingdonshire, UK, for a raid on Nuremberg, Germany. Some 185 mls (300 km) from base the aircraft crashed into the estuary of the Westerschelde, the Netherlands, all seven crew were killed."
