01/22/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This 240 was delivered to the Indonesian airline Garuda Indonesian Airways on September 15, 1950 registered PK-GCD and named 'Radjawali'. It was sold in the USA on December 15, 1960, registered N776J, and then sold in Mexico and registered XB-PEZ. It was sold to the Mexican company Empresas Longoria SA in 1966 and was resold in the USA and registered N77WA in 1972. On August 3, 1975, this aircraft was damaged beyond repair when it made a belly landing at Belize City, Belize."

Remarks by Ed Coates: "Ex Garuda PK-GCD. TAHS's Airliner Production list says it was owned by Industria Unidas de Neuvo Laredo at that time, and that Empressa Longoria SA only acquired it in 1966, but my dating of March 1963 is accurate. Suspect they are one and the same and that Empressa is a dba (doing business as)."
