Remarks by Ed Coates: "Built by de Havilland Australia at Bankstown Aerodrome, Sydney, New South Wales, and delivered to the RAAF as A17-219 T.220. It went on the civil register as VH-BOC and became VH-RVB at the Royal Victorian Aero Club (RVAC). It was damaged at RVAC prior sale and rebuilt as VH-ASD, then VH-GLH. I have flown this aeroplane many times." |
