This aircraft, former USAF 48-636, was one of 32 YC-125's build, 13 YC-125A's intended as light assault transports and 10 YC-125B's intended as arctic SAR aircraft. All build in 1950 they were declared surplus and sold. The pictured aircraft came on the civil register as N2773B and was soon sold to Mexico as XB-GEY and was used by Triplay and is shown in that livery at the Museum. |
