08/31/2006. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This one-of-a-kind aircraft was delivered in March 1939 when Vultee thought they would sign a contract with the Brazilian Navy. Demonstrated at the Gold Gate International Exposition in San Francisco, California, neither the Brazilian AF nor Navy purchased any of these aircraft. The Edo floats were removed and the aircraft reverted back to a landplane."
