Remarks by Ed Coates: "Built by de Havilland Australia at Bankstown, New South Wales. When this shot was taken this immaculate Tiger Moth was owned by the McKenzie Flying School. Interestingly, the aircraft was first registered in 1947 (as VH-CHS) and was never reregistered. It was formerly with the RAAF as A17-241 and was damaged beyond repair at Moyhu, Victoria in 1960, the pilot, Keith Judd, was killed." |
