Remarks by Ed Coates: "Originally imported for Qantas as VH-UPA in 1930. It was re-registered VH-ABU in 1948 and was a frequent visitor to Moorabbin in the 1950s. Shortly after this photo was taken it was withdrawn from active status. It is now the subject of a restoration project by John Petit in Victoria. The assumption is, when that happens, it will re-appear as VH-UPA." |
