12/31/2008. Produced by Arado in 1939, the Bf 109 saw combat in the Battle of Britain and at the Eastern front where it crashed in 1942. Recovered it eventually ended up restored to flying conditions. The Spitfire was produced by Vickers-Armstrong in 1944, served with the RAF (s/n MK912), from July 1946 with the Royal Netherlands AF (s/n H-119, later H-59), and from June 1952 with the Royal Belgian AF (s/n SM-29) before it came on the civil registry in the UK (G-BRRA) in October 1989. It was transferred to Canada (CF-FLC) in February 2004.
