Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Photographed fresh from the factory in late 1941, early 1942, the aircraft was subsequently handed over to the RAF, which designated it Hudson Mk.IIIA and allotted the serial BW454. It was transferred to the Eastern Air Command of the RCAF on February 5, 1942, retaining the RAF serial. Assigned to No. 11 (BR) Squadron at RCAF Station Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, the aircraft failed to return from a patrol mission on September 25, 1942, the aircraft and the five crew members were not found. The aircraft was struck off charge on February 2, 1943."
