In 1951, one year after graduating from the University of Wisconsin with a B. S. in Mechanical Engineer Ray was hired as a design engineer at Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corp. in San Diego. He was assigned to the Wing and Tail design group where he worked on the following projects:  Ray Crupi on the right with Centaur upper stage. |
