05/31/2011. Remarks by Alfred Damen (with thanks to Guus Ottenhof from Old Wings – Soviet Transports): "While still a high-school student, I saw this aircraft at Schiphol, on May 29, 1964. It was the only Tu-114 ever to visit Schiphol.

The aircraft was the 23rd of 32 Tu-114s built at Factory Number 18 at Kuibyshev-Bezymyanka, Russia between 1958 and 1964. Registered on September 23, 1963, the aircraft started scheduled flights the following November. It made its last flight to Moscow-Tyumen on September 9, 1976, where it was preserved at Tyumen-Roschino Aviator's Park until it was broken up in 1986."
