North American NA-213 F-86K Sabre

09/30/2013. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Built under the USAF serial 54-1246, this aircraft was delivered to Rotterdam, the Netherlands by the USN escort aircraft carrier T-CVE 64 Tripoli on October 1, 1955. It was taken on charge on March 7, 1956, and two weeks later, March 20, assigned to 700 Squadron at Soesterberg AFB.

On February 27, 1957, it was transferred to 702 Squadron at Twenthe AFB and coded "ZX-12", while on March 7, 1959 it was returned to 700 Squadron, coded "6A-2". Two weeks later, March 23, 700 Squadron moved to Twenthe AFB, and later in the year the code was replaced by the serial Q-246. The aircraft was struck off charge on October 31, 1964."
