09/30/2007. Remarks by Jack McKillop: "This was the first of four BAC One-Eleven's purchased by Aer Lingus. It first flew on April 28, 1965 and was delivered to Aer Lingus on May 14, 1965. It was withdrawn from use on January 4, 1991 and placed in storage at Shannon Airport. It was sold to Hold Trade Air of Nigeria on September 20, 1991 and registered 5N-HTC. Withdrawn om use in January 1993 and stored at Southend, Essex, England, until scrapped in August 2001." |
