07/15/2020. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "The tenth Airacobra Mk.I for the RAF is pictured on a pre-delivery test flight. In August 1941 it was shipped to the UK and allotted to No. 601 (County of London) Squadron at RAF Duxford, Cambridgeshire.

Bell 14 Airacobra Mk.I

Coded "UF-J" and with a different paint scheme it served with the squadron till the type was replaced by Supermarine Spitfire Mk.VBs in March 1942."
