10/31/2010. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Produced under the USAF s/n 54-4001, this helicopter was delivered to the ALAT (Aviation Légère de l'Armée de Terre, Light Aviation of the French Army) for service in Algeria under the ALAT s/n 8000114. Reportedly the aircraft was used by the Aeronavale (French Navy) under the civil registration F-YDCB, were after it returned to the ALAT in 1960, coded AAG. It was struck off charge in 1968.
Subsequently it came on the US Registry as N64606 and was operated by Midwest Helicopter Airways. On December 15, 1990, it was registered to Bruce W. Rogers of Ramona, California, USA, while presently it is registered to the Classic Rotors Museum, also at Ramona. In the 1990s the aircraft was in bare metal finish, void of markings, by the year 2000 it was wearing a 1950s US Army finish and the tail code 44001."
