05/31/2007. Built by Canadian Car & Foundry and taken on strength by the RCAF on September 29, 1942, s/n 5447. It was struck off charge on August 20, 1946 and went to War Assets Corporation for sale. It was bought by Harry Whereatt of Assiniboia who registered the aircraft as C-GGAJ and applied the colors and markings of 402 "City of Winnipeg" Squadron RCAF, s/n 5447, code AE-W.

Since August 23, 2006, the aircraft is owned by Canada Inc., Ottawa, Ontario, and is presently being overhauled by Vintage Wings of Canada. The aircraft will be finished in the markings of the Hurricane Mk.I s/n P2961, code LE-A, flown by the Canadian Flying Officer William "Willie" McKnight DFC, top ace of No. 242 Squadron RAF. McKnight, credited for sixteen and a half aircraft kills, was listed as "missing" over the English Channel on January 12, 1941.
