Canadian Vickers Vedette Mk.V

05/31/2007. The Vedette was the first commercially produced aircraft designed and built in Canada, there were only sixty built between 1925 and 1930. The the pictured aircraft was abandoned in a swamp near Cormorant Lake where it had landed after an engine failure. Its remains provided valuable information for the construction of a fly-worthy replica.
