Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Reportedly this aircraft is one of several aircraft brought to the USA after WW I, it has been used in several movies during the 1930s, before it was donated to the Smithsonian in 1951. It is pictured in German AAS markings but with the fictive s/n 7517/18 and the fictive c/n 3504."
