01/31/2011. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "Pictured during the NATO Tiger Meet, this aircraft was originally license-built by Fokker as an F-16A (for administrative purposes the USAF s/n 86-0055 was allotted), entering service on August 2, 1988.

Since the aircraft went through a Mid-Life Update (MLU) in which it was fitted with a new radar, GPS (Global Positioning System), a new HUD (Head-Up Display), night-vision goggle capability, a modular mission computer, and a digital terrain system. The aircraft was redesignated F-16AM, it is assigned to No. 313 Squadron at Volkel."
