05/31/2007. This aircraft was built as a G-64 UF-1 and delivered to the USN with BuNo. 141271, and was redesignated HU-16C in 1962.

On September 25, 2003, while operated by Corsair Aviation, the aircraft was lost six minutes after take-off from St. Lucie International Airport, Ft. Pierce, Florida, while attempting to make an emergency landing. The co-pilot and single passenger received fatal injuries, the pilot received minor injuries.
