05/31/2007. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was built as a G-64 UF-1 and delivered to the USN with BuNo 141271, and was redesignated HU-16C in 1962.

On September 25, 2003, while operated by Corsair Aviation, the aircraft was lost six minutes after take off from St. Lucie International Airport, Ft. Pierce, Florida, while attempting to make an emergency landing. The co-pilot and single passenger received fatal injuries, the pilot received minor injuries."
