07/31/2011. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "While in use with the E-stelle at Rechlin, the SC I with c/n 37 (registered D-1311) made a forced landing at Berlin in February 1928. It was rebuilt with several modifications, most importantly it was fitted with a 230 BMW Va twelve-cylinder liquid-cooled V-engine, and in this form it became the prototype SC II. It was displayed at the Salon de l'Aeronatique at Paris in 1928 and subsequently ten were produced for the DVS."
