02/28/2008. Finland ordered 18 Blenheim Mk.Is (BL-104 to BL-121) on October 6, 1936, that were built by Bristol at Filton, UK. They were all flown to Finland, the first two, BL-104 and BL-105, left Filton on July 26, 1937, staging through the Netherlands (Amsterdam), Germany (Hamburg) and Sweden (Malmö and Stockholm), arriving at Helsinki on July 29.

Finland also acquired the license manufacturing rights for the Mk.I and produced another 55 examples between 1941 and the Armistice in September 1944, while early in 1940 also 24 ex RAF Blenheim Mk.IVs had been delivered.

The pictured aircraft was lost in a landing accident on June 26, 1942.
