11/30/2013. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "In 1909 the French design Antoinette IV was licensed to the Albatros Flugzeugwerke, formed by Dr. Walther Huth, at Berlin-Johannisthal, Germany. This developed version was fitted with a 50 hp Gnome seven-cylinder rotary engine, driving a Chauvière two-bladed propeller."
