de Havilland D.H.110 Sea Vixen FAW.Mk.2

09/30/2008. Produced as a Sea Vixen FAW.Mk.1 this aircraft was delivered to the RN on September 29, 1961. It was converted to an FAW.Mk.2 fitted with fuel tanks in the leading edge extensions to the tail booms. In May 1967 this aircraft was seen equipped with the 'Buddy' refueling pack.

After its operational service the aircraft became an instructional airframe, s/n 8143M. It ended its day at the Aces High Flying Museum at North Weald, after years of deteriorating in the open it was scrapped on July 26, 2001.
