06/30/2006. Remarks by David Hatcher: "This photo was taken the morning CW4 Jake Kegris and I departed Premier Aviation for Ft. Rucker, Alabama. The reason for the large N numbers on the aircraft is that the Army had not received the deviation from the FAR for the smaller numbers.

Just after the aircraft were accepted, a FAX came in from Oklahoma City authorizing the deviation and the numbers were peeled off and we departed. My son Stephen, who is currently in Army flight school, later flew this aircraft on his first training flight." View also the History Brief .
