Air Tractor AT-802A Fire Boss

12/15/2021. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This aircraft was built in 2008 and registered to Conair of Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada, as C-GBWF on September 26, 2008. On August 1, 2009, after take off from Shuswap Regional Airport at Salmon Arm, the aircraft experienced an electrical system failure. The pilot returned to Shuswap, but due to the electrical failure the pilot was unable to extend the landing gear or operate the flaps. The aircraft landed gear up resulting in minor damage to the floats and scoop probe.

Six weeks later, September 15, 2009, the aircraft was registered to Forest Protection Limited (FPL) of Lincoln, New Brunswick. The registration was cancelled on January 17, 2018. Two days later it was registered to Aero Spray of Appleton, Minnesota, USA as N747DA and still is as of this day.

On March 7, 2018, the registration C-GBWF was reused by FPL on another Air Tractor, a model AT-502B with c/n 502B-3130."
